We would like to congratulate our June 2026 Employee of the Month Amanda Dillon! Amanda has been a LVN Charge Nurse on night shift for Rayburn Healthcare for almost 6 months. In that time she has went above and beyond to ensure our residents get the best care possible. She is willing to pick up extra shifts and help wherever she's needed. Thank you for everything you do Amanda! Congratulations!!

We have been made aware of a post made on a local community page and want to address any concerns regarding it. This afternoon one of our residents decided he was going to walk to the convenience store. Our staff became aware and quickly sprung into action to bring the resident back to the facility safely. Measures have been put into place and our priority is keeping our residents safe. We are thankful our staff utilized their knowledge and training and got this resident back to the facility safe and sound.

Congratulations to our April and May 2026 Employees of the Month Jalon Flemons and Makaya Armstrong!
Jalon works in our Housekeeping Department and has been an employee for a year and a half. He is always willing to do whatever is asked of him, even going to Dietary to help if they are short-handed.
Makaya works as a CNA and even though she's only been here for a few short months her kindness and compassion has made a big impact.
Thank you both for everything you do!

We showed our CNAs some love starting last Thursday with a popcorn bar provided by Harbor Hospice. Then Friday Gentiva Hospice made some delicious cotton candy. Monday Olive Branch Hospice brought pizza for lunch. Tuesday and Wednesday Rayburn Healthcare cooked some scrumptious chicken and shrimp soft tacos and some birria stuffed baked potatoes and gave out some cute summer time coolers filled with all kinds of goodies. A hugh thank you to all of our CNAs!! Ya'll are the best!!

Today we said our goodbyes to our Sweet Sophie. She's moving to Montana to join her husband Justun (another member of the Rayburn Healthcare family) while he serves our country in the Army. We are so proud for both of them and wish them the best on this journey. We love you Justun and Sophie!!

We have a fun filled Nursing Home Week last week! Monday was Moments in Bloom with our spring attire and Gentiva Hospice helped the residents make paper flowers. Tuesday was Spring into Summer with our Summer attire. Residents enjoyed making wreaths with Harbor Hospice. Wednesday was Western Day with the Harbor Band providing entertainment while we enjoyed frito pies. Thursday was Baseball Day with a consession stand with ballpark hotdogs. Friday was Red, White, and Blue Day. Our residents and staff enjoyed grilled burgers and potato chips.

A fun week of celebrating our wonderful Nurses! A big thank you to Olive Branch Hospice for the Dirty Soda bar, Harbor Hospice for the Ice Cream Sundaes, and Gentiva Hospice for the Dirty Alani's. We ended the week with some good food and Igloo coolers filled with goodies. Happy Nurses Week!
