We showed our CNAs some love starting last Thursday with a popcorn bar provided by Harbor Hospice. Then Friday Gentiva Hospice made some delicious cotton candy. Monday Olive Branch Hospice brought pizza for lunch. Tuesday and Wednesday Rayburn Healthcare cooked some scrumptious chicken and shrimp soft tacos and some birria stuffed baked potatoes and gave out some cute summer time coolers filled with all kinds of goodies. A hugh thank you to all of our CNAs!! Ya'll are the best!!

Today we said our goodbyes to our Sweet Sophie. She's moving to Montana to join her husband Justun (another member of the Rayburn Healthcare family) while he serves our country in the Army. We are so proud for both of them and wish them the best on this journey. We love you Justun and Sophie!!

We have a fun filled Nursing Home Week last week! Monday was Moments in Bloom with our spring attire and Gentiva Hospice helped the residents make paper flowers. Tuesday was Spring into Summer with our Summer attire. Residents enjoyed making wreaths with Harbor Hospice. Wednesday was Western Day with the Harbor Band providing entertainment while we enjoyed frito pies. Thursday was Baseball Day with a consession stand with ballpark hotdogs. Friday was Red, White, and Blue Day. Our residents and staff enjoyed grilled burgers and potato chips.

A fun week of celebrating our wonderful Nurses! A big thank you to Olive Branch Hospice for the Dirty Soda bar, Harbor Hospice for the Ice Cream Sundaes, and Gentiva Hospice for the Dirty Alani's. We ended the week with some good food and Igloo coolers filled with goodies. Happy Nurses Week!

We are playing catch up again, so help us congratulate our February & March Employees of the Month: Shaylea Pyles for February and Kendrick Adams for March!
Shaylea came to work for us in August of 2025 as a student nurse aide working on night shift. She got her certification by October and moved to a day shift position when one became available. She was nominated for EOTM by one of the resident's family members. This gentleman submitted a very lovely letter praising Shay for her "outstanding compassion, relentless cheerfulness, and attentive care"
Kendrick has been a Floor Tech for us for almost a year and a half. Among keeping the floors shiny Ken will help wherever he can. If there's a call in or a department is short-handed then he will jump in without a hesitation. If there's heavy lifting to be done we know we can count on him. He may be shy and quiet but you can always get a big smile out of him.
Thank you Shay and Ken for all your hardwork!!! We appreciate you!!!

Nothing better than a crawfish and shrimp boil on this beautiful Good Friday! A big thank you to our very own Derek Mong and his son Jace for cooking everything! Also, thank you to Olive Branch Hospice for donating cupcakes and Advantage Plus Home Care for donating the drinks! We had a wonderful day!! 🦐🦐🦐
