Today is National Cancer Survivors day.
With that we close our Take the Pledge campaign.
The winner of our JC drawing is Danielle Grefrath, Danielle is not only our winner for Take the Pedge but a Breast cancer survivor. She shared with me that today is her 5 year anniversary of the diagnosis. Congratulations Danielle! 🩷

Here’s a great reason to wear your SPF everyday.

My husband Lance went into the dermatologist for an annual skin check.

November of 2014 they did a biopsy on a suspicious area. December of 2014 my husband, 28 at the time, went in for an excision of a malignant melanoma with areas of progression and possible early invasion (heading to the dermis).

Skin cancer doesn’t discriminate against Age, gender, race or genetics. Melanoma is THE deadliest form of skin cancer. Skin checks and regular use of SPF can save lives.
