Let’s talk about why separating your locs is so important.
When locs are not separated regularly, the new growth can start joining together at the root. Over time, this can ca@NicefoundationBeautyEmpire use matting, thick joining, pulling, and it can make your retwist or maintenance harder and more painful.
This is why I always recommend keeping up with your loc maintenance and gently separating your locs between appointments, especially after washing.
Healthy locs need clean parts, proper separation, and regular care. Don’t wait until your locs start growing together before you book your maintenance.
