You have heard of C*D. Have you heard of CBG?

CBG is another natural compound from the h**p plant. It is often called the mother cannabinoid because the plant makes it early and then converts most of it into other compounds as it grows. That is why there is usually so little of it, and why it gets talked about as something special.

If you have ever wondered what is beyond plain C*D, this is a good next step in understanding the plant. The full comparison is below.

CBG vs C*D for athletes, recover faster and help DOMS before it happens. Cannabigerol is the new cannabinoid for athletes.

Here is a fact that surprises almost everyone the first time they hear it.

Your body already has a system that interacts with compounds like the ones in h**p. It is called the endocannabinoid system, and you were born with it. It helps your body keep itself in balance.

That is a big part of why h**p has been studied the way it has. Once you understand this one system, a lot of the rest of C*D starts to make sense. The beginner-friendly explainer is below.

Cannabidiol (C*D) is an effective health supplement because we have an endocannabinoid system (ECS) in our body to interact with it. This comprehensive post dives into the ECS and why its valuable.

Let's start at the very beginning, because after 13 years we still get this question every week.

What is C*D? It is one of many natural compounds found in the h**p plant. It will not get you high. That is usually the first thing people are surprised to learn.

We wrote the whole plain-English version down so you can read it at your own pace. No jargon, no hype.

Congress quietly redefined legal h**p. Here's what Section 781 actually changes, what stays, and where we stand. We've made real C*D since 2013. Full breakdown: https://madebyh**p.com/federal-h**p-ban-section-781/

We'd put it on a billboard. The November 12 federal h**p ban changes what counts as legal h**p, and a lot of legitimate full-spectrum C*D gets swept up with it. Real C*D since 2013, and we're not going quiet. Full breakdown: https://madebyh**p.com/federal-h**p-ban-section-781/

Some real talk about a law you probably haven't heard about yet.

Congress passed a h**p provision (Section 781) that changes how legal h**p is measured. Instead of capping it by percentage, it sets a hard ceiling on what we'll politely call hippie calories: 0.4mg per container. The practical effect: most full-spectrum C*D, including a lot of legitimate products, would be non-compliant.

There's about a one-year runway before it takes effect, so nothing disappears overnight.

Here's where we stand. We started Made By H**p in 2013, in a basement in Rockford, Michigan. Some of our full-spectrum products are affected too, and we're not going to pretend they aren't. But we never built this business on the gas-station loophole. No knockoff intoxicants dressed up as h**p. So we're adapting, shifting toward formulas that clear the new rule, and we'll keep you posted in plain English on what changes and what stays.

Thirteen years in, still here, still shipping. We've got you.

Same company, 2 years apart.

Top: our lab in 2014. A few cabinets, a couple office chairs, and a 3-bay sink. That's where we made everything we shipped you.

Bottom: the lab we moved into in 2016, photographed the day we moved in. There's a lot more equipment in there now, but this was day one.

13 years in, this is what the work looks like behind the scenes. Real benches, real people, US-made h**p products by hand.

We got here one batch at a time. Year 14 starts now. 🙏

13 years ago this month, I started Made By H**p out of Michigan.

Most people had never heard of C*D. The mission was simple: help 5 people a month.

It turned into a much bigger company. Then it imploded. I'm 25 months into digging out of $1M in debt, and I should have thrown in the towel two years ago.

I didn't.

Still here. Still full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, isolate. Still made in the US. Still picking up the phone when you call.

13 years of receipts. Year 14 starts now.

If you've been a customer at any point over the past 13 years, drop a comment. I want to say thanks personally.
