🫶🏽More than customers… y’all became family. 💚

This little apothecary has been filled with so much love, conversation, laughter, hugs, healing, and genuine connection. Some people come in for herbs and tea, and end up staying to talk, like we’ve known each other forever. That’s always been the heart of Raine n River Apothecary. We built this apothecary for healing. And somehow along the way, our customers became family.
Just know that the tea is always steeping and somebody’s is probably getting hugged before they leave💚 🥰

Everybody thinks herbs are gentle… so you can just throw anything together and call it a blend.☕️🫖🌿

That’s the myth.

The truth is herbs are active. They do things in the body. And when you start combining them without understanding their actions, you can either overwhelm the body, or completely cancel out what you’re trying to do.

Some herbs stimulate. Some calm. Some move things. Some heat the body up, others cool it down. So when you’re building a blend, it’s not just about what each herb does individually it’s about how they talk to each other.

A simple example ginseng and caffeine. Both energizing, right? Sounds like a good idea until your heart is racing, you feel jittery, and your nervous system is overstimulated. That’s not balance that’s overload.

It’s not just “this herb is good for this.”
It’s:
🌿what does the body need
🌿what direction are we moving in
🌿how do these herbs work together

That’s the difference between a random tea and a formula. If you’ve ever mixed herbs at home, this is your reminder pause, learn the actions, and be intentional with your combinations.
