✨🪩 Day 2 of CNA Week: Glitter & Glow Day! 🪩✨

Today our team got to shine a little brighter! A huge thank you to A&M Salon for treating our team to fun tinsel hair extensions—what a tinsel treat! 💖

We also enjoyed sparkling lemonade and sweet treats as we celebrated the amazing caregivers who bring so much heart, compassion, and sparkle to our residents and families every day.

☕️ CNA Week is off to a great start! Our Pajamas & Coffee Day was a huge hit. Our team enjoyed working in their cozy pajamas while sipping on delicious coffee and spending time together.

🌴☀️ Our Beach Blast Party was one for the books! ☀️🌴

With sand between our toes, water play, Beach Boys tunes filling the air, and plenty of sunshine, it was the perfect way to kick off summer fun! 🌊🏖️

The day was filled with laughter, smiles, and special moments that reminded us that the best memories are made together. From splashing and playing to singing along and soaking up the summer vibes, it was a blast from start to finish!

Huge thank you to Beth with Heartland Hospice for assisting us with this incredible time!

Fun was had, memories were made, and summer was celebrated in the best way possible! 🌞🌺🕶️

Nothing says summer quite like lemonade, juicy watermelon, great friends, and music that brings back wonderful memories! Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with crafts, laughter, meaningful conversation, and plenty of toe-tapping to their favorite tunes from the 1960s.

Activities like these are about more than just having fun—they create opportunities for connection, creativity, and shared experiences that brighten everyone’s day.

From singing along to familiar songs to enjoying sweet summertime treats, our Sunshine Social was filled with smiles and sunshine from start to finish. ☀️💛

🥤✨ Memory Maker: Coke Floats & Life’s Greatest Achievements

There is something special about gathering around a Coke float and sharing stories from years gone by. During our Memory Maker Monday activity, residents reflected on some of their proudest accomplishments and the moments that shaped their lives.

From raising children and grandchildren to military service, successful careers, community involvement, and personal milestones, each story was a beautiful reminder that every resident carries a lifetime of experiences, wisdom, and achievements.

These conversations do more than bring back memories—they help strengthen connections, encourage self-reflection, and celebrate the remarkable journeys that make each person unique.

🐴❤️ The joy on our residents’ faces says it all.

Equine therapy has a unique way of reaching the heart. Interacting with horses can help reduce stress, encourage conversation, spark memories, and bring a sense of peace and happiness to seniors. These special visits create meaningful moments that support emotional well-being and enrich daily life.

We are incredibly thankful to Heather and Lilly the Horse for spending time with our residents at At Home Senior Living & Memory Care. The smiles, laughter, and connections made during Lilly’s visit will be treasured for a long time.

Sometimes the simplest moments—a gentle nuzzle, a soft touch, or a shared smile—can bring the greatest joy. 💙

For generations, Sybil’s Fried Chicken has been a staple in Wayne County, bringing families together around the table. Today, our residents were treated to a very special meal with Mrs. Sybil’s famous fried chicken, and the smiles said it all.

The stories shared, the memories brought back, and the comfort of a hometown favorite made today extra meaningful. There’s something special about familiar flavors that can take you right back to cherished moments in life.

The salon isn’t just for our ladies — our gentlemen enjoy their spa days too! A fresh haircut and a little pampering can do so much more than help someone look good. It boosts confidence, lifts spirits, and helps our residents feel like themselves. Looking good and feeling good truly go hand in hand!
