Board Certified PAs are helping fill critical gaps in underserved areas across the country, helping expand access to care where it’s needed most.

According to NCCPA data, PAs practicing in general pediatrics (37.8%), family medicine (37.5%), and psychiatry (32.1%) are the most likely to work in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) or Medically Underserved Areas (MUAs).
