Evidence drives progress. At the Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers 2026 Annual Conference, the NCCPA research team shared findings from a national analysis of PAs who completed postgraduate fellowships and residencies, contributing to the growing body of evidence that supports the PA profession and informs education, workforce development and clinical practice.

Through research like this, NCCPA is helping advance conversations about the impact of Board Certified PAs and the many pathways they take to provide high-quality patient care.

Every few years, NCCPA conducts a Practice Analysis Survey to ensure certification and recertification exams continue to reflect the knowledge and skills PAs use in today's clinical practice.

The feedback from Board Certified PAs helps inform future exam blueprints, guides the development of new exam content, and ensures assessments remain relevant as medicine and the PA profession continue to evolve.

If you receive the survey in your inbox, please take a few minutes to share your experience. Your voice helps shape the future of PA certification.
