I shouldn’t have to make this post. BUT!
In all the years and time I put into tattooing and such. I never had clients harass and bully like these ones. When people get angry and frustrated these days, they act upon Emotions instead of Reason. This girl came in for a tattoo knowing I will be charging $150-$175 range. She wanted it near her collarbone. So I charged her for design and PLACEMENT. Her friends got matching tattoos, easily on their arms. Cool, everyone loved my work. Said great things. I charged them $150 and her for placement $170.
I charged this woman $20 more for placement, and she got defensive about it in messages later in the evening. But, because I care about the making the experience here good and memorable. I gave her $20 refunded (which I did not have to do). I heard her out and I sent her an apology message because her concern was, that I mistreated her by charging her more. I can ration with that. I gave her what she wanted to make her happy and tried to exceed it by even offering a $60 gift card.
But now, for some reason. She is getting her husband and friends to attack my business AFTER the fact, and harass it even when she got what she wanted in the end. Making accounts and telling friends just to give my business 1 star reviews is a bit ridiculous to me given everything that happen prior.
I’m making this post not to be rude or arrogant about it. I have the right to defend myself and what I worked so hard to build. But, I want my fellow supporters to know.. just talk to me. It’s very rare I ever have issues with people. When I did, I fixed those minor problems by you guys expressing yourself throughout the years. Don’t leave my shop or ANY tattoo shop angry. And especially, don’t bully or harass an artist online because you’re frustrated. We are adults. We all have family’s we go home to just like you. I will and always give prices before you come to my shop. And I will always make sure you love the work before you leave. Getting a group of people to spread hate on anyone because you’re upset is not acceptable to me.
I hate the idea of how this escalated to where I felt the need to make a post about people treating people with respect in my industry. I know many artist in the area and we give it back when issues are addressed. Thank you all for understanding and hearing me out.❤️
