💊❤️ Happy National Pharmacy Technician Day!

October is a pretty special month in the pharmacy world! We're celebrating American Pharmacists Month all October long, National Pharmacy Week (October 19–25), and today, we're giving our pharmacy technicians some extra love!

Our techs are the ones answering phones, filling prescriptions, solving problems, keeping things organized, and somehow managing to do 15 things at once. They're often the familiar faces and voices our patients have come to know and love, and we couldn't do what we do without them!

Of course, none of it happens without our incredible pharmacists and the rest of our pharmacy teams working together to take care of our communities.

Here's to the people behind the counter who make independent pharmacy what it is! ❤️

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: KAYLENA 🌟

Meet Kaylena, one of the friendly faces you may see around Jones Drug!

Kaylena is a senior at Jones High School. She was born in central Oklahoma and moved to Jones after middle school, and she has definitely made the most of her time here!

Hardworking, reliable, thoughtful, and creative are just a few words that fit Kaylena well. When she’s not working at Jones Drug, she stays busy with Key Club, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Leadership, and Student Council.

She’s also spent plenty of time staying active and trying new things. Kaylena ran cross country for three years and played the saxophone for five years. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time outdoors.

One of the coolest things about Kaylena is what she has planned for the future. She is currently enrolled in the Fire Program at EOC TECH and hopes to become a firefighter/paramedic after high school. 🚒❤️

We’re proud to have someone so driven, dependable, and involved in our community as part of the Jones Drug team!
