Twenty-five years later, we still remember.
We remember the lives lost. We remember the families whose lives changed forever. We remember the firefighters, EMS professionals, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, military members, healthcare workers, and everyday Americans who stepped forward when they were needed most.
For many of us, September 11, 2001 is one of those days where we can still remember exactly where we were when we heard the news. We remember watching the television, listening to the radio, calling our loved ones, and trying to understand what was happening.

Today, Emerson Ambulance Service invites you to share your memory.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Where were you on September 11, 2001, when you first heard what was happening? What was going through your mind at that moment?

Share your story in the comments. Every generation should understand why we promised to Never Forget.

Today we remember the fallen, honor the heroes, and stand together as Americans.

It is with great sorrow that we make this post. The EMS family lost one of our own.
The passing of Jason Eidson is a heartbreaking reminder of just how close-knit this profession really is. In EMS, the people we work beside from every service become more than coworkers. We share long shifts, difficult calls, laughs that get us through the hard days, and moments that most people will never see or understand.
Jason dedicated part of his life to being there for others when they needed help the most. That kind of service leaves a mark, not only on the patients and families he helped, but on the brothers and sisters who stood beside him in EMS.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jason's family, friends, coworkers, and everyone whose life he touched. May they find strength and comfort in the memories they shared with him.

๐Ÿš‘ Extreme Heat Across Northeast Arkansas โ˜€๏ธ

The heat is here, and it can become dangerous faster than many people realize. Emerson Ambulance Service encourages everyone to take a few simple steps to stay safe during this heat wave.

๐Ÿ’ง Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
๐ŸŒก๏ธ Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest hours if possible.
๐Ÿงข Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
๐Ÿš— Never leave a child, older adult, or pet inside a parked vehicle, even for a moment.
๐Ÿค Check on elderly family members, neighbors, and anyone who may not have access to air conditioning.

โš ๏ธ Watch for signs of heat-related illness:
โ€ข Heavy sweating
โ€ข Dizziness or fainting
โ€ข Headache
โ€ข Nausea or vomiting
โ€ข Muscle cramps

๐Ÿšจ Call 911 immediately if someone becomes confused, loses consciousness, has hot, dry skin, or stops sweating. These are signs of heat stroke, a life-threatening emergency.

Your safety is our priority. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and take care of one another. We're here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Serving our community with compassion, professionalism, and care.
