We are overwhelmed by the outstanding response to IMRP Research Day 2026 and wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the participants from St. Bernards and numerous other regional institutions and programs, as well as the judges. Our gratitude is also extended to the St. Bernard administration for their invaluable assistance. The keynote speakers, Dr. Naveen Patil, Dr. Rajnarayanan, and Dr. Kay Chandler, delivered exceptional presentations focusing on Women's Health.

Hi everyone! My name is Bashar. I grew up in Amman, Jordan, and attended medical school at the Faculty of Medicine at the Hashemite University. I am planning to pursue a career as a cardiologist or hospitalist.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, and I love trying out new recipes to share with friends and family. I also enjoy exploring new cafes and restaurants with friends.

Medical School: NYITCOM at Arkansas State University

Career Goals: I am interested in Pulmonary/Critical Care and Cardiology.

Hobbies: Playing pickleball, tennis, and basketball; watching the NBA, NFL, and college football and basketball; keeping up with A-State athletics; and spending time with my family and girlfriend.

Fun Facts: I was once featured on the local news for memorizing all U.S. presidents at the age of four (unfortunately, I can’t do this anymore, so please don’t ask!). I am the oldest of three siblings and have 40 cousins (both first and second). I attended elementary school at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School (the old location), where the “new tower” of St. Bernards now stands.
