✨ Making ADL practice FUN! ✨🪥

Today we worked on an important activity of daily living skill = teeth brushing! 🦷

To make the practice hands-on and engaging, the therapist used an Expo marker on a set of fake teeth and had Raelynn use a toothbrush to “scrub away” the black marks. This simple activity provided a fun visual way to practice the motor skills, coordination, sequencing, attention, and thoroughness needed for successful toothbrushing.

In OT, we love finding creative ways to turn everyday tasks into meaningful, engaging activities! 💙 Sometimes learning life skills is as simple as making it feel like play! 🪥🦷✨
