Abilities Unlimited Incorporated (AUI) was founded
April 1, 1963 by a group of concerned citizens spearheaded by the Jonesboro Jaycee's group. A start-up grant helped to open the first facility and AUI soon became a beacon for the community. Our primary concern is to provide for and assist individuals with disabilities. It is not the Disability in a person, rather the Ability that defines who you
are. Throughout the years, we've experienced several fires and setbacks in our facilities. Though detrimental to our buildings, our spirits did not waiver. We sought new locations, received new grants, and broadened our operations. We grew so fast we needed more space and acquired more buildings, transportation, and sub-contracts! Currently, we employ over 300 people! We service the Jonesboro area through our thrift stores (311 Union Ave), The Unlimited upscale resale boutique (410 West Huntington), If you are interested in donating items for our thrift or consignment stores, please visit 410 West Huntington, Personal Adjustment Center (710 Walnut Street), Adult Development Day Treatment, Consumer Services, Administrative Office (North Church) and Recycling center (806 Burke). Our Paragould operations take place at 121 North 2nd Street. The Unlimited, Thrift Store and the Adult Development Day Treatment are all located in the heart of downtown Paragould. We also offer our products and services in Blytheville, AR, at our Adult Development Day Treatment (2100 Texas Street, Blytheville, AR)
We provide secure document shredding; the customer will receive a secure locked container (or containers if needed), pick up at your convenience, re-stock with a new empty container, and service your product upon request. We shred everything in house and recycle the contents afterwards. This is a rapidly growing business and we predict it to continue as more contacts are made! If you are interested in shredding opportunities with AUI, please call Dustin Stinson 870-277-2772
