For the past 17 years, Dr. Monica Knowles has practiced the Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic Technique, a highly specialized approach that has been at the heart of the care she provides her patients.
As the Blair technique has continued to develop over the years, additional proficiency certifications have been introduced for newer generations of doctors. Practitioners like Dr. Monica, who began their training and practice before these newer requirements were established, were not required to complete them.
She chose to complete the proficiency process anyway.
This past weekend, her family traveled to Indianapolis, where Dr. Monica joined Blair doctors from across the country for continuing education, collaboration, and proficiency testing. It was also an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends in the Blair community whom she has known for the last 20 years.
After nearly two decades of utilizing the Blair technique in practice, Dr. Monica successfully completed the prescribed proficiency examination and received her newest Blair certification.
The certificate may be new. The experience behind it certainly isnโt.
Continuing education has always been an important part of Dr. Monicaโs practice, and weโre grateful that this particular weekend gave us the opportunity to make the trip together as a family.
