Recently, I ran out of my face soap that is part of The Face Ritual (even though I have plenty in my shop), and I was having some real trouble with acne when just using my regular soap.
Fast forward to today where I have virtually no acne…. I mean I can say that it has definitely helped, and I KNOW it is the soap. Sometimes running out of things helps my experiments.

Seabuckthorn Berry Extract is known for its ability to help the skin during those hostile acne moments. It penetrates the skin and allows the skin to find balance.

Over the past few weeks, I had the opportunity to explore a potential endorsement collaboration through TRNDY with Brooke Burke for [Lacy Branch Botanicals](https://lacybranchbotanicals.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com).

After a lot of consideration, I decided it just wasn’t the right time for my brand — no matter how exciting the opportunity sounded.

One thing I’m learning as a founder is that growth has to make sense financially, personally, and sustainably… not just look impressive from the outside.

Still incredibly grateful that a small southern skincare brand built from my kitchen table could even be part of conversations like that.

The past few weeks have reminded me that Lacy Branch Botanicals is growing into something far beyond what I originally imagined.

What began with herbs, formulation books, late nights, and a vision for botanical skincare is slowly becoming something much larger.

There have been meetings, conversations, opportunities, and moments lately that have pushed me to think bigger than ever before — not just for the brand, but for what it could eventually create here in Louisiana.

I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has supported this journey so far. The next chapter of LBB is being built carefully, intentionally, and with a long-term vision in mind.

We’re just getting started.

Yesterday was slow, peaceful, and exactly what my heart needed.

Coffee by the creek, listening to the water, curled up in the beautiful hammock my family gave me for Mother’s Day — a place for afternoon naps, drawing, resting, and simply slowing down for a little while.

I’m so incredibly thankful for my family and for these quiet moments together. They mean more to me than anything.

Feeling very loved and very grateful. 🤍
