Your care may include:
✔️ Hands-on manual therapy
✔️ Targeted therapeutic exercises
✔️ Mobility and flexibility training
✔️ Strengthening and core stabilization
✔️ Education to help prevent future flare-ups

Our goal isn't just to help you feel better today, it's to help you move with confidence and keep your back healthy for the long term.

Cancer, in its many forms, affects almost all families at some point in time. Unfortunately, it has now affected our iMove PT family. 🥲

Olga Tukin, our amazing Front Desk Receptionist in our Chesterfield outpatient clinic, has recently been diagnosed with tongue cancer. Olga is scheduled to have surgery on September 11th. She will have a several month recovery process.

If you have met Olga, you know what a special person Olga is. Our team was blessed when Olga joined iMove PT in January 2025. She is kind, friendly, helpful and has an amazing work ethic. There truly is nobody like Olga, she is such a blessing to all of our patients and our entire team.

Now it is our turn to help Olga. The iMove PT team has started a gofundme to help support Olga over the next several months as she recovers from surgery. Please do what you can to support Olga during her time of need. 🙏❤️

Tendonitis is a condition that occurs when a tendon becomes irritated, often due to repetitive movements or overuse. 🎯 It commonly causes pain with movement, tenderness around the area, mild swelling, and stiffness after rest. While it can be frustrating, most cases improve with the right approach, including guided exercises, activity modification, and gradual strengthening. Physical therapy can help address the root cause of the irritation and support a safe return to normal activity.

A heavy backpack can contribute to neck, shoulder, and back discomfort, but a few simple habits can make a big difference.

✔️ Choose a backpack with wide, padded straps.
✔️ Wear both shoulder straps.
✔️ Keep heavier items closest to the back.
✔️ Avoid carrying more than 10–15% of your child's body weight.

Helping students build healthy habits now can prevent aches and pains throughout the school year.

Walking every day is one of the simplest and most effective ways to support your overall health. 🚶‍♀️ It can improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen muscles and joints, boost mood, increase energy levels, and support better balance and mobility over time. Whether it’s a short walk around your neighborhood or a longer outing, consistent movement adds up. If walking has become uncomfortable or difficult, physical therapy can help you get back to moving with confidence.

Balance is important at every age because it plays a key role in how safely and confidently you move through daily life. 🌟 Good balance helps reduce your risk of falls and injuries, improves coordination, and supports better performance in both everyday activities and sports.

If you’ve noticed feeling unsteady or less confident on your feet, physical therapy can help improve your strength, stability, and overall control so you can move with more ease.
