Freeman Education Department Freeman Education Department offers a wide variety of continuing education programs for our staff, healthcare professionals and the community.

We have been an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center since 2004. Many of our life support courses are available to the community, whether you are an experienced healthcare professional or a beginner to life-saving training. Training areas include basic life support skills such as CPR and first aid, as well as initial and renewal courses for advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) a

nd pediatric advanced life support (PALS). Our specialty courses designed for healthcare professionals range from basic certifications to advanced licenses in AWHONN, STABLE, NRP, ASLS and TNCC.

Looking for a fun, creative hobby you can take anywhere?
Join us for a hands-on quilting experience and discover the art of English Paper Piecing (EPP)!

English Paper Piecing is a fun, easy way to create intricate quilt designs using paper templates, needle, thread, and fabric scraps. It’s perfect for beginners and experienced quilters alike—and it’s a great portable craft!

Freeman’s 4th grade MASH Camp held at South Middle School was a hit!
150 students had the opportunity to experience multiple healthcare activities during their summer school.
Thank you to all the Freeman Health System employees who participated and made this event happen!
