Stress is a major concern for most people, but we often accept it as “part of life”. It’s the exact opposite. And it’s usually rooted in fear! The two best ways to combat stress?
1- BREATHE. Exhale longer than you inhale. In for 4, hold for 5, out for 6. Make sure to breathe through your diaphragm (push out your belly button)
2- define your fear. Why are you stressed? What are you afraid will happen if you do or don’t do the thing stressing you out? And how can you change that?

Athletes visualize their win. Performers run their lines, putting themselves in the characters’ shoes before they perform. Executives map out what their next steps will be in order to hit their goal.
All of these things are other ways to say, they IMAGINE what will happen before it does!
Imagination is one of the STRONGEST tools we have. It is not a cute thing for children. It is not immature. It is POWERFUL!

Do you know what it means when someone says “holistic”? Just like it sounds whole-istic is seeing something as a result of all of the pieces. It’s looking at how it’s all intertwined. It’s the difference between listening to a bassoon’s supportive tones or a whole overture.
It works the same with your well-being, or wellness. One part of the composition doesn’t tell the whole story. In order to understand why you experience certain things or how you can improve areas of your life, you need to look at the whole picture and how the different pieces work together or push apart.

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel, try new products or materials, or discover a new methodology to find success.

Often, if you look back on things you’ve already learned, you can find a way to accomplish a task, or at least a place to start!
