Ms. Becky decided since no one made it out to our Volunteer Training Day, today was a good day to take Ms. Envy for a short ba****ck ride.

Day 8 update to share with our supporters and Shady Side Market supporters. Java is doing really good. Bouncing and playing with his ball today. He had a little vet visit the other day and they found infection starting but it was caught very early due the the 24 hour round the clock care he is getting from our staff, volunteers and of course Joyce and Terry. Java is very loved and spoiled here. So far be loves to play ball and we have learned he has the most adorable gait. One cute gaited baby mule!

What a fun lesson with Shay, Reba, Ms. Madison and Ms. Erica today. The two best red mares in the world really enjoyed getting groomed and wearing bows in their manes. Then they were happy to give some of our students their first ride. What a great day

We would like to share our newest story. This is Java. Java is owned by Joyce and Terry. Java was born yesterday morning and sadly and tragically he lost his mom so our friends reached out to us to ask for a stall and our help keeping him fed, warm, safe, happy and loved. So we said yes abseloutely, bring him. Java just earned his name this morning by our staff becase as we sit here feeding and monitoring him as we are drinking our coffee we quickly learned he loves and finds the smell of coffee intruiging and wanted to drink from the coffee cups (of course we didn't allow this) but his attempts were adorable..... Java will be here for as long as he needs, certainly it will be temporary but as long as he needs. He has been a blessing to us. He is adorable and we are glad we can help him in his loss and help provide him the warmth food and love he needs during his loss. ❤️‍🩹🩵🐎
