“Yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserves your love and affection.” — Buddha ✨

Self-love is not selfish.
It is the foundation from which we learn to love, serve, and connect with others more fully.

Speak kindly to yourself.
Honor your needs.
Give yourself permission to rest, receive, and simply be.

We are worthy of the same compassion we so freely give to others. 🤍

Today, choose yourself—with love. 🌿

The Yamas and Niyamas are more than ancient yogic teachings. They are beautiful reminders of how we can love, communicate, parent, partner, and live together with more awareness. 🤍

Because sometimes the deepest yoga happens in the middle of a disagreement, a messy house, a tired morning, or a challenging conversation.

✨ YAMAS — how we relate to others

🤍 Ahimsa — Non-violence
Choose kindness with your words, your tone, and your actions. Before reacting, ask: “Will this create more love or more pain?”

🌸 Satya — Truthfulness
Speak honestly, but with compassion. We can tell the truth without using it as a weapon.

🌿 Asteya — Non-stealing
Don’t steal someone’s peace, time, energy, or voice. Respect each other’s boundaries and needs.

🔥 Brahmacharya — Wise use of energy
Be mindful of where your energy goes. Sometimes your family doesn’t need more doing… they simply need your presence.

🌙 Aparigraha — Non-attachment
Release the need to control everyone and everything. Allow your loved ones to be who they are, not who you think they should be.

✨ NIYAMAS — how we relate to ourselves

🌺 Saucha — Purity
Create a home environment that feels clear, peaceful, and nourishing — not only physically, but emotionally.

🙏 Santosha — Contentment
Practice gratitude for what is here. Not every day needs to be perfect to be beautiful.

🔥 Tapas — Discipline
Choose the practices that strengthen your family: listening, apologizing, showing up, creating rituals, and having the courage to grow.

📖 Svadhyaya — Self-study
Instead of always asking, “What are THEY doing wrong?” ask yourself:
“What is this relationship teaching me about myself?”

🕊️ Ishvara Pranidhana — Surrender
Do your part with love, then release what you cannot control. Trust that growth takes time.

Family is one of our greatest spiritual classrooms. 🫶🏽

May our homes become places where yoga is not just something we practice…

…but something we live. 🌿

✨ One breath. One conversation. One choice at a time.

Love & light,
ANA. 🙏🏽

Still feeling the energy of this Full Moon and Eclipse? 🌕

The Pisces Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse invites us into a powerful moment of reflection, release, & renewal.

Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac, carrying themes of intuition, compassion, dreams, spirituality, surrender, & the unseen. As the Moon reaches fullness, we are encouraged to slow down & listen to what our inner world may be revealing.

A lunar eclipse adds another layer to this energy. As the Earth moves between the Sun & Moon, casting its shadow across the Moon, we are reminded that darkness does not mean the light has disappeared. Sometimes, the shadow simply reveals what we have not yet been willing to see.

A Time to Ask… 🌻
What am I ready to release?
What truth is asking to be acknowledged?
Where am I being called to trust rather than control?
What new space am I creating within myself?

Thanks Julianne (Jules) for a beautiful & joyful morning with the fam. 🤍🙏🏽🌺

An eclipse can feel like a cosmic pause… a moment when the light changes, the familiar is temporarily hidden, and we are invited to look within. 🪷

Rather than trying to figure everything out, what if we allowed this energy to be felt through the body?

Our bodies are constantly communicating with us. They know when it’s time to slow down, release, rest, move, breathe, or simply be.

An eclipse doesn’t necessarily ask us to become someone new.

Sometimes, it simply reveals what has been waiting underneath the surface.

Let your body be part of the transformation.
Let your breath create space.
Let your nervous system soften.
Let what is leaving… leave.
Let what is arriving… arrive. 🌙

You don’t have to force the next chapter.

Feel it. Breathe it. Move it. Integrate it.

And trust that your body often knows the way before your mind does. 🤍

✨ NAMASTE ✨
We say it at the end of yoga class.
We bow our heads. We bring our palms together.
But what if we remembered that Namaste is so much more than a beautiful word?

Rooted in the Sanskrit tradition, Namaste comes from namas — “to bow” or “to honor” — and te — “to you.”

It is an offering of reverence.

In the sacred traditions of India, bowing is not about making ourselves smaller. It is an act of recognizing the sacredness within another.

🙏🏽 I honor you.
🙏🏽 I bow to the divine within you.
🙏🏽 I recognize that which connects us beyond the roles, identities, opinions, and differences we carry.

And perhaps this is one of the greatest teachings we can bring into our modern lives.

What if we practiced Namaste beyond the yoga mat?

What if we paused before reacting and remembered there is a whole human being in front of us?

What if we listened to our children with the same presence we offer during meditation?

What if we spoke to our partners with reverence, even when we disagree?

What if we honored the stranger, the teacher, the elder, the person who challenges us?

And most importantly…

What if we practiced Namaste with ourselves?

Because honoring the divine within another begins with remembering the sacredness within you.

Your body deserves reverence.
Your journey deserves compassion.
Your boundaries deserve respect.
Your dreams deserve space.
Your rest is sacred.
Your becoming is sacred.

In a world that constantly asks us to rush, compare, consume, achieve and prove…

Perhaps Namaste is an invitation to simply see. 👁️

To see ourselves.
To see one another.
To see the divine thread connecting us all.

So the next time you bring your palms together and say Namaste, let it be more than the closing of a yoga practice.

Let it become a way of living.

I honor the light, the wisdom, and the sacredness within you — and I honor it within myself.

Namaste. 🙏🏽🪷🤍

Motherhood is one of the most beautiful blessings of my life. 🤍

But I’m learning that being a good mother doesn’t mean giving every last piece of myself away.

It means remembering that I am a woman, a soul, a whole human being too. 🌿

And sometimes, showing up for my family means showing up for ME first.

For the yoga class.
For the quiet morning.
For the movement that makes me feel alive.
For the friendships that nourish me.
For the dreams that still live inside my heart.
For the moments when I simply need to breathe, receive, rest, and be.

Because when I feel whole, I have so much more love to give.

When I take care of myself, I teach my children that self-love is not selfish.
That receiving is not weakness.
That motherhood does not require us to disappear.
That we can love our families deeply while still honoring who we are becoming.

So, mama… release the guilt.

You are allowed to receive.
You are allowed to have needs.
You are allowed to choose yourself.
You are allowed to feel beautiful, inspired, free, and alive.

You don’t have to earn rest.
You don’t have to apologize for taking care of yourself.

Your children don’t need a perfect mother. They need a mother who is present, nourished, fulfilled, and connected to herself.

So keep filling your own cup. 🫶🏽

Not because your family deserves less of you…

But because they deserve the most authentic, loving, and whole version of you.

And so do you. ✨

My Sacred Responsibility 🤍

Motherhood has taught me that raising children is not only about teaching them how to live in this world… it is also about helping them remember who they are beyond it.

To raise them with spirituality is to teach them that there is something greater than what the eyes can see.
To raise them with emotional awareness is to teach them that every feeling has a place, that vulnerability is not weakness, and that their hearts are safe to be heard.

It is holding space for their questions.
Honoring their uniqueness.
Teaching them kindness, compassion, gratitude, intuition and connection with Nature. 🌿

It is showing them that prayer can be a conversation, that silence can be medicine, that the Earth can be a teacher, and that love can be felt in the smallest moments.

And perhaps most importantly…
it is doing our own inner work.

Because our children learn so much more from what we embody than from what we say.

May I always remember that these little souls are not mine to control.
They are souls I have been trusted to love, guide, protect and witness as they discover their own path.

What a privilege.
What a responsibility.
What a sacred blessing it is to be a portal. ✨

May we raise children who know they are deeply loved, emotionally safe, spiritually connected, and free to become exactly who they came here to be. 🌺

E ola — may they live fully.
May they love deeply.
May they remember their light. 🤍

Free enough to slow down.
Free enough to stop chasing what comes next.
Free enough to surrender to this moment and truly see it.

Sometimes we become so focused on getting somewhere that we forget to appreciate where we already are.

The warmth of the sun on our skin, the sound of the ocean. A deep breath. A laugh that comes from the soul or a quiet morning. The lessons hidden inside the challenges.

Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
There is beauty in the becoming, in the uncertainty, in the ordinary moments we often overlook.

So today, take a breath.
Look around you.
Feel your feet on the Earth.
Let yourself be present.

And maybe that is enough reason to appreciate it all. 🤍🌺🤙🏽🤗🌻
