VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR MASSAGE TRAINING CLASSES
Nori Kohana Massage Therapy & Academy is looking for volunteer practice bodies for our Level 1 Massage Training Program.
Available Dates:
• Thursday, June 18, 2026
• Monday, June 22, 2026
We are looking for 2 volunteers for each class.
Class Schedule:
• Volunteer check-in: 6:15 PM
• Practice session: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Feedback and wrap-up: until approximately 7:40 PM
Please note:
• This is NOT an intern massage clinic.
• These students are currently in our Level 1 training program and have not yet entered the apprenticeship/internship phase.
• The purpose of the class is to support student learning in body mechanics, pacing, communication, positioning, and foundational techniques.
• This is an educational setting, not a customized massage session.
• Volunteers should be comfortable supporting student learning and providing respectful, constructive feedback.
• Professional boundaries and respectful communication are expected at all times.
• Volunteers will complete a brief consent form before class and a feedback form after the session.
*not suitable for pregnancy or serious medical conditions
How to apply:
• Please send a DM on Instagram only (no Facebook messages or emails).
• Include your full name, phone number, and preferred date.
We will accept the first 4 volunteers who are a good fit for the class. Once spots are filled, the request will be closed. If you are not selected, please understand that no response means you were not chosen for this time. You are welcome to apply again for future classes.
