Hello, everyone.
As most of you are aware, Jessi has been away for a bit, due to the health challenges that her partner is facing. She is currently setting in motion the next steps to transferring his care over to family so she can resume what resembles a semi-normal for her. Please be patient with us and her at this time, as she is doing everything she can to get back to all of her clients as soon as possible. None of this has been easy for anyone, so we are doing are best to be transparent while also respecting her privacy at this time. Hey everyone, Nick here.

If you have been a client or friend of Daybreak Tattoo, then you likely know and love Jessi. On top of being one of the sweetest people you'll every meet, she also works hard to give her very best to her clients.

Unfortunately, it has been a difficult year as her partner, Tad, has been battling cancer. During this time, she has worked hard to keep appointments while also being there for him. The strength and resolve she has shown throughout has been incredible as has her dedication to her clients, on even the most difficult days.

More recently, Tad's health has taken a more difficult turn as the cancer has spread, requiring additional care and treatment. It has also left him more reliant on Jessi as things have progressed.

So, for the time being, Jessi will be at the shop as much as life, Tad's health, and her own well-being allows. If you have been waiting to get in with her or have an upcoming appointment, I know it can be difficult for last-minute reschedules, delays, or uncertainties. It will be day-to-day for a while, but I can assure you we'll be doing the best that we can.

Obviously, missing work and income brings it's own hardships but, thankfully, a good friend of Jessi's started a GoFundMe to allow us to help lighten the load during this difficult time. I am linking that below as well as a direct link to Jessi's Venmo if you prefer donating directly.

I don't know what else I can say aside from cancer sucks, Jessi and Tad are amazing, and I hope that, if circumstances allow, you'll consider making a generous donation to these wonderful people during a time no one should have to go through.
