Summer was fun. Your skin may have a few souvenirs. ☀️

Long days outside are part of what makes a Montana summer so good—but months of sun, heat, and outdoor exposure can become more noticeable as we head into fall.

You may start seeing:
• Brown spots or areas of pigmentation
• Increased redness
• Uneven skin tone
• Rough or uneven texture
• Skin that looks duller than it did earlier in the season
• Changes in overall firmness and collagen over time

And here's the important part: not every concern should be treated the same way.

IPL/Dye VL may be appropriate when pigment and redness are the primary concerns, while ClearLift Skin Rejuvenation takes a different approach to supporting tone, texture, and collagen.
That's why we believe healthy skin starts with a strategy—not simply choosing a treatment because you saw it online.

This September, we're focusing on Repair, Reset + Rebalance with customized fall skin consultations to evaluate what summer left behind and determine what makes sense for your skin. 🍂 Fall is treatment-plan season. Book your consultation today!

She thinks she needs more patience.

She doesn't. She needs the chemical her brain used to make automatically because no amount of willpower replaces a serotonin supply that's already gone.

If you've been snapping over things that shouldn't matter, cycling between anger and tears within minutes, and quietly wondering if you've just become a worse version of yourself. You haven't. And you're not alone in feeling like your family is walking on eggshells around a person you don't even recognize.

Most women in this situation try to fix it through sheer effort. Yoga. Breathing exercises. Telling themselves to just calm down before they react. Some blame it entirely on stress or lack of sleep and push themselves to "manage it better." And when none of that works consistently, it usually turns into something worse, the quiet belief that she's just become a harder, angrier person than she used to be.

Here's what's actually happening: estrogen directly stimulates serotonin and endorphin production — your brain's natural "feel-good" chemicals. When estrogen drops, those chemicals drop with it. Progesterone, which normally has a calming effect, drops too. And testosterone, which supports drive and helps regulate depressive symptoms, falls as well.

You're not lacking willpower. Your brain lost three chemical supports it used to have automatically, all at once. And no amount of breathing exercises replaces a chemical that isn't there.

This is where it clicks that the mood swings aren't a separate willpower failure sitting on top of everything else they're driven by the exact same falling hormones behind the exhaustion, the sleep, the fog. One cause, not a character flaw.

We walk patients through their actual estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels, and set a realistic timeline: mood starting to stabilize around 2-4 weeks, typically peaking around 6-8 weeks. Gradual, not overnight so a rough day here or there in week two doesn't mean it isn't working.

This was never a character flaw. It's chemical, it's measurable, and there's a real path back to feeling like yourself with your family again.

Waking up at 2am and lying there, wide awake, exhausted but somehow not tired enough to fall back asleep?

You're not imagining it. And you're not broken.

This is one of the most common things we hear from patients. They fall asleep fine, but something jolts them awake every night, and no one can tell them why. Labs come back "normal." The sleep aid works for a night or two, then stops. And you're left wondering if this is just what getting older feels like.

Here's what's actually happening: as estrogen drops, the part of your brain that regulates temperature gets oversensitive which is why night sweats jolt you awake. And low progesterone means your nervous system loses one of its main calming signals, so even without the sweats, your brain won't shut back off.

A sleep aid can knock you out. It doesn't touch either of those.
We walk patients through their actual numbers, connect the sleep issues to what else is going on (the brain fog, the mood swings, the exhaustion is usually one root cause, not five), and set a realistic timeline: small wins in 2-4 weeks, sleeping through the night by 6-8 weeks. No guessing, no panicking in week one.

Want to understand your own hormone panel instead of just hearing "normal"? Drop SLEEP below and I'll send you our free walkthrough guide — "What Your Hormone Panel Is Actually Telling You."

She'd eaten the same salad for lunch every day for a month. Gained weight anyway. At that point, she figured her metabolism owed her an apology.

She came to us gaining weight no matter what she tried. Cold all the time, even in a warm room. Anxious in a way that didn't feel like her. And her memory was slipping — losing her train of thought mid-sentence, forgetting things she used to just know.

She figured it was just aging. Maybe stress. Probably both.

When we ran a full panel, we found low testosterone and a vitamin deficiency — but also thyroid markers pointing to Hashimoto's, an autoimmune thyroid condition.

Two separate systems, both running low at the same time. Treating only one would have left her half-fixed.

So we treated both — thyroid support alongside hormone pellet therapy — and tracked her progress with her own symptom scale, not just how she felt in the moment.

Here's what changed:

🔹 Her ability to lose weight improved significantly
🔹 Anxiety dropped by more than half
🔹 Feeling cold constantly nearly disappeared
🔹 Several smaller symptoms resolved completely
🔹 She lost over 20 pounds

She told us she finally felt like herself again — and more confident than she'd felt in years.

If you're doing everything "right" and still not seeing movement, it might not be one thing you're missing. It might be two. The only way to know is to actually look.

We put together a resource called "Is It All Connected? The Hormone Symptom Map" that walks through exactly this kind of overlap.

Brain Fog Isn't "Just Getting Older." 🧠

Ever walked into a room and forgotten why?
Lost your train of thought mid-conversation?
Or felt like your memory and focus just aren't what they used to be?

You're not imagining it—and you're definitely not alone.

Brain fog isn't a personality flaw or a lack of motivation. It's often a sign that your body is asking for support.

Common contributors can include:
✨ Hormonal changes
✨ Poor sleep
✨ Chronic stress
✨ Nutrient deficiencies
✨ Blood sugar imbalances
✨ Inflammation and metabolic health

When you understand the root cause of brain fog, you can take meaningful steps toward improving your mental clarity, focus, and overall well-being.

You don't have to accept feeling "off" as your new normal.

5 signs your body is asking for help.

Persistent fatigue. Brain fog. Unexplained weight changes. Poor sleep. Feeling like yourself... but not quite.

These symptoms are often dismissed as stress, aging, or simply having a busy life. But your body has a way of communicating when something isn't functioning as it should.

While these signs don't always point to one specific condition, they can be clues that it's time to take a closer look. Hormone changes, metabolic health, nutrient deficiencies, thyroid function, stress, and other underlying factors can all play a role.

At All About You, we believe your symptoms deserve more than a quick explanation. We take the time to understand the whole picture so you can stop wondering and start getting real answers.

Take the first step toward understanding what's happening beneath the surface. Schedule your consultation and start getting the answers your body has been asking for.

Don't come to All About You... unless you're ready to get back to YOU. 👀

After spending the summer taking care of everyone else, back-to-school season is the perfect reminder to check in with yourself, too.

If you've been living with low energy, brain fog, stubborn weight changes, poor sleep, or simply not feeling like yourself, those symptoms deserve more than being brushed aside as "just getting older."

Many of these changes can be connected to underlying factors like hormones, metabolic health, nutrition, stress, or other imbalances. The first step isn't guessing—it's understanding what's really going on.

Throughout August, we're celebrating Back-to-You Wellness Month by encouraging our community to pause, prioritize their health, and gain a better understanding of what their body may be trying to tell them.
As part of the month, we're also providing a personalized 90-Day Wellness Roadmap to help guide each individual's next steps.

Because your health deserves the same attention you give everyone else.

Nobody tells you this part of perimenopause: the quiet fear that low desire means something's wrong with your marriage.
You start wondering if you're failing as a wife. If he thinks it's him. If counseling is the answer, or another date night, or just trying harder to "get in the mood."

Here's the thing almost nobody checks first: your hormones.
Estrogen keeps everything working. When it drops, intimacy can go from something you want to something that physically hurts. Testosterone is what drives desire itself, completely separate from how you feel about your relationship. When both of those numbers fall, no amount of romance fixes what's actually a physical, treatable cause.

That's the piece that gets missed. Women spend months (sometimes years) working on the marriage, when the real starting point is two simple lab values.

If this sounds familiar, the first step isn't a hard conversation — it's a blood draw. Ask for estrogen and testosterone on your next panel before assuming the problem is emotional.

We wrote a short guide called "Why S*x Hurts (And Why It's Not About Him)" that walks through exactly what's happening physically and why it's rarely the relationship at all.

Comment "DESIRE" and we'll send it your way.

Small habits can have a big impact on how you feel throughout the day.

When your energy is low or you're feeling off, it's easy to reach for the quickest solution. But sometimes, a simple swap can support your body in a more meaningful way.

✨ Instead of another cup of coffee, try moving your body for a few minutes.
📖 Instead of endless scrolling, give your mind a break with a few pages of a book.
🥗 Instead of reaching for sugary snacks, choose a protein-rich meal or snack to help support steady energy.

These aren't rules—they're small, realistic changes that can help support better energy, focus, and overall wellness over time.

If you're making healthy choices but still struggling with fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, or low motivation, it may be worth looking beyond your daily habits. Factors like hormone balance, nutrition, sleep quality, stress, and metabolic health can all play a role in how you feel.

Sometimes the answer isn't to try harder—it's to better understand what your body is trying to tell you.

Losing words mid-sentence. Forgetting birthdays, grocery lists, the thing your kid needed for school tomorrow. You used to be the one who remembered everything for everyone — now you feel like you're failing at work and at home.

So you download the brain-training apps. Drink more coffee to push through. Write sticky notes everywhere. Tell yourself it's just stress, or bad sleep, or — quietly, in the back of your mind — wonder if something is actually wrong.

Here's what's actually happening: you're treating the fog like it's its own isolated problem. It isn't.

Estrogen directly improves blood flow and glucose metabolism in the brain — that's literally the fuel your brain runs on. Progesterone supports the deep sleep where memory gets consolidated overnight. So if you're also not sleeping well, that's not a coincidence sitting next to your brain fog. It's the same root cause showing up twice.

Your brain isn't failing. It's running on low fuel.

Try this tonight: list out everything that's changed lately — fog, fatigue, mood, sleep, all of it. Look at whether it all started clustering around the same time, usually in your 40s or 50s. That clustering is usually the first sign it's hormonal, not something more serious. Once estrogen and sleep are addressed together, you're not fixing five things — you're fixing the one thing that was always showing up as five.

We put together a resource called "Your Brain Fog Has a Twin" that shows you exactly what it connects to.
