🚨 BEFORE YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHILD, READ THIS TO THE END!
A child is not a survival plan.
A child is not a business strategy.
A child is a 20-YEAR RESPONSIBILITY.
I know this will offend some people, but someone has to say the painful truth:
STOP HAVING CHILDREN YOU KNOW YOU CANNOT RAISE!
Before you open your legs again, before you say "I want another baby," ask yourself this brutal but honest question:
"Can I truly afford to RAISE this child for the next 20 years?"
Not just give birth and do a naming ceremony.
Not just post the baby on Facebook.
RAISE.
Because that beautiful baby you are holding today will wake up hungry tomorrow morning.
And the next morning.
And every morning for years.
That child will need diapers today, and school uniforms tomorrow.
That child will need breast milk today, and textbooks, school fees, and exam fees tomorrow.
That child will need paracetamol today, and hospital bills tomorrow.
And here is the part many people ignore: Children grow very fast!
The size 5 shoe you bought last month will be tight next month.
The school uniform you managed to buy this term will be too short next term.
The 500 cedis school fees you struggled to pay this term will become 800 cedis next year.
And hunger does not say, "Oh, your mother has 6 children, so I will not come today."
Sickness does not say, "Your father is jobless, so I will not attack this child."
When you have 1 child, it's one mouth, one school fee, one medical bill.
When you have 6, 7, 8 children, multiply that hunger by 8. Multiply that school fee by 8. Multiply that sickness by 8. Multiply that shame by 8.
And then what happens?
You start living on your phone begging:
"Sis, please, my children have not eaten since yesterday."
"Bro, please pay my child's school fees, they sent him home."
"Auntie, please buy medicine for my baby, she is burning."
"Please help me, God will bless you."
And when that person you are calling also says, "Sis, I am also struggling, my own children have not paid their fees, my rent is due, my business is down," you get angry.
You start saying, "You have money but you don't want to help me."
"You have changed."
"You are wicked."
But my sister, my brother, who told you that your children are their responsibility?
That woman you are insulting is also waking up at 4am thinking of how to feed her own 2 children.
That man you are calling stingy is also hiding from his landlord because he cannot pay rent.
That friend you blocked because she didn't send money also cries at night because her salary cannot cover her own bills.
They love you, but love cannot pay school fees.
Listen to me: Other people's money should NEVER be your family planning method.
Yes, pray hard.
Yes, trust God with all your heart.
Yes, believe that God is a provider.
But don't use "God will provide" as an excuse for refusing to use your brain.
God gave you the same God that gave you faith, He also gave you WISDOM. He gave you condoms, He gave you family planning at the hospital, He gave you the ability to say "Not now, we are not ready," He gave you the ability to plan, work, and save.
Faith without wisdom is foolishness.
You cannot say, "I will keep having children anyhow, God will take care of them," and then when God doesn't drop money from heaven, you start cursing everybody around you for not helping.
You are not trusting God. You are testing God, and you are punishing innocent children.
Look at those children you already have:
Are they eating well?
Are they in a good school or are they always being sacked for school fees?
When they are sick, can you take them to the hospital or do you have to beg first?
Do they have a decent place to sleep or are 5 of them sleeping in one room on the floor?
Are you giving them attention and love, or are you too tired and frustrated because you are overwhelmed?
If you are honest and the answer is NO, then why are you bringing another innocent soul to suffer the same fate?
Children are not competition — "My mates have 5, so I must also have 5."
Children are not retirement plans — "If I have many, one will take care of me."
Children are not to trap a man — "If I give him a child, he will not leave me."
Children are not trophies.
CHILDREN ARE A BLESSING, BUT A BLESSING YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO CARRY.
A child can be a blessing and still suffer if you bring them into poverty you created with your own hands.
So please, I beg you...
Don't count how many children you WANT.
Count how many children you can FEED, EDUCATE, CLOTHE, HOUSE, AND LOVE PROPERLY.
If you can only take care of 2 with dignity, have 2 and raise them like kings and queens.
It is better to have 2 well-raised children than 8 children begging everywh🚨 BEFORE YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHILD, READ THIS TO THE END!

If you can only take care of 2 with dignity, have 2 and raise them like kings and queens.
It is better to have 2 well-raised children than 8 children begging everywhere for survival.
Because bringing a child into this world takes only 9 months and one night of pleasure.
But raising that child takes 20+ years of sacrifice, sleepless nights, school fees, hospital bills, discipline, patience, and endless love.
Think before you multiply.
Plan before you parent.
Pray, but also PREPARE.
And if today you know you cannot carry it, don't create another burden hoping that tomorrow someone else will feel guilty enough to carry it for you.
RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD IS NOT LACK OF FAITH.
IT IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF WISDOM AND LOVE FOR YOUR CHILDREN. ❤️
