About This Session:
Youth va**ng can be difficult to address, particularly when conversations about quitting feel judgmental, disciplinary, or overwhelming for young people. This session will focus on how to have supportive, effective conversations with youth about va**ng cessation. Participants will explore strategies for engaging in youth-centered conversations about quitting va**ng including asking about va**ng, understanding a young personβs readiness to quit, responding to challenges and concerns, identifying realistic next steps, and connecting to cessation support. The session will emphasize a youth-centered approach that builds trust, supports autonomy, and connects young people with appropriate resources to help them stop va**ng.
