Last week, we had the honor of receiving a generous Community Support Grant from the United Way of Central Missouri ()!

This funding will help support vision screenings, care coordination and mobile clinics for children in central Missouri, ensuring more kids have access to the eye care services they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

What a great day at the 2026 KidSight Conference! 👓✨

We shared program updates, looked ahead to exciting opportunities on the horizon, and recognized the incredible impact our volunteers make in communities across the state every day.

Congratulations to Lion Bob Crump - KidSight’s Volunteer of the Year!

Bob, a member of the Seymour Missouri Lions Club, has been a true champion for KidSight and the children we serve. While he officially became a KidSight volunteer in 2019, his support of our mission goes back decades.

This past year, Bob served children across 11 Missouri counties and personally screened more than 1,600 children. Beyond screenings, Bob serves on KidSight’s Board of Directors, organizes an annual District raffle fundraiser to benefit KidSight, and is always willing to step up, lend a hand, and advocate for early childhood vision screening.

Bob’s dedication reflects the very best of KidSight: service, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping children see clearly, learn confidently, and thrive.
