💪❤️ STRONGER, HEALTHIER, NOT JUST LIGHTER ❤️💪
I’m changing the way I think about health.
For so long, we’ve been taught that success is measured by a number on the scale. But what if the better question isn’t “How much do I weigh?” but…
“How strong am I becoming?”
“How much energy do I have?”
“Can I move more easily?”
“Am I building muscle?”
“Am I nourishing my body?”
“Am I taking care of the body I’ve been given?”
❤️ I want to focus on strength, not shrinking.
🥗 Nourishment, not restriction.
🏋️♀️ Building muscle, not simply losing pounds.
🚶♀️ Movement, not punishment.
😴 Rest and recovery, not running myself into the ground.
🧠 A healthy relationship with food and my body, not guilt.
As we get older, muscle becomes even more important. Strength helps us stay independent, move through life with confidence, protect our bones and joints, and keep doing the things we love.
So yes, I may still have health goals that include changing my body composition—but the scale is no longer the star of the story.
The goal is to become stronger, healthier, more capable, and more energetic.
And if my body changes along the way, wonderful. ❤️
But I’m not chasing a smaller version of myself.
I’m building a stronger version of myself. 💪✨
