Even our toothiest friends need to take care of their teeth! 😁🦈🪥Belton Parks and Recreation visited us at the Belton Missouri Police Department's National Night Out event to pick up a toothbrush and learn about the importance of taking care of those pearly whites! 🦷✨ We love seeing our friends from the community and sharing a little dental health fun with the community! 💙

Healthy smiles start with prevention! 🦷💙 We visited Cambridge Elementary School for a dental screening, helping these Pirates learn more about taking care of their smiles and identifying any potential dental needs.

These school screenings give children an important opportunity to connect with dental professionals right at school—and help families know when follow-up care may be needed.

Want to help students smile brighter this fall? 🍂😁✨ Help local students smile brighter this fall! Cass Community Health Foundation's fall dental screening season is underway, and we're looking for volunteers to join us at local schools throughout October and November! Our school-based screenings help identify students who may need dental care and connect families with resources to keep their smiles healthy. You can be part of that effort!

Volunteer opportunities include:
- 🦷 Screeners: Dentists, registered dental hygienists, and dental students
- 🪥 Varnishers: Volunteers who apply fluoride varnish after completing a short training video
- 📋 Recorders & Event Helpers: Assist with paperwork, supplies and screening activities. No dental experience required!

📅 We have upcoming screenings at schools in Pleasant Hill, Martin City, Belton, Drexel, Harrisonville and surrounding communities. Every volunteer helps us reach more students and connect children with the dental care they need.

Gladden Elementary School students got a hands-on look at oral health! 🦷🪥✨

Cass Community Health Foundation brought dental screenings to Gladden Elementary, giving students the opportunity to have their teeth checked and learn more about caring for their smiles. Students also gathered for an interactive lesson that made learning about oral health engaging and fun! 💙

“I’m very pleased that my grandson was accepting of treatment for the first time.”

Deacon is the newest member of our Smile Squad! 😁💪 After Deacon’s second visit to Cass County Dental Clinic, his trust in our team grew. For the first time in his dental history, Deacon was able to work through some of his fears. He successfully completed his first set of X-rays and his first full cleaning — a milestone for a child who has experienced difficulties in the dental chair. Healthy smiles start early at Harrisonville Elementary School! 💙🦷 Cass Community Health Foundation recently hosted free dental screenings for these Wildcats — including hands-on lessons about brushing and one-on-one screenings with dental professionals. These visits give students the knowledge and resources they need to build healthy habits that can last a lifetime! 🪥😁

We’re grateful to the students, teachers and volunteers who helped make this screening a success. We’re working to give kids a healthy smile and a healthy start!
