ABOUT THE HTRC

The primary purpose for all HTRC activity is to increase access to health care for Americans living in rural areas by assisting communities in building capacity to develop sustainable telehealth programs and networks. In addition, HTRC encourages and assists in the expansion of existing programs and networks to obtain optimum application of available resources. The HTRC provides te

chnical assistance to help health care organizations, networks and providers implement cost-effective telehealth programs serving rural and medically underserved areas and populations. All partner organizations in the HTRC are well-established telehealth entities that have historically demonstrated the ability to help develop sustainable telehealth programs.
