First session down on a minor cover up transforming into a Fudo-Myoo back-piece.

Fudō Myōō ("Immovable Wisdom King") is a prominent, wrathful guardian deity in Japanese Esoteric Buddhism (Shingon, Tendai) and Shugendō, representing the unshakable, protective power of Buddha. As an emanation of Dainichi Nyorai, he uses his sword and rope to cut through ignorance and bind evil, aiding devotees in overcoming obstacles and transforming negative energies.

The kabuto mask which happens to be my clients first tattoo symbolizes honor, bravery, protection, and the warrior spirit of ancient Japan. It represents a deep connection to samurai ethics (Bushido), resilience, and mental fortitude, often designed as an intricate helmet worn by samurai to intimidate enemies.
