At Omnicell's CSC Leadership Forum in St. Louis, Pulse Design Group’s Basil Sherman II, AIA, NCARB, EDAC, ACHA and Tony Jones shared their expertise in planning and designing centralized pharmacy facilities, exploring how people, process, technology, and place must work together to create smarter, more efficient healthcare operations.

From rethinking workflows and integrating automation to planning for resilience and future growth, our message was simple: Great pharmacy design starts with understanding the people doing the work and the patients they serve.

For 30 years, Pulse Design Group has had the privilege of working alongside The University of Kansas Health System, a partnership rooted in trust, purpose, and a shared commitment to better care. Treads & Threads brings all of that to life in one unforgettable evening.

This year, our President, Dennis Burns, served as Event Chair as we celebrated another record-breaking year: more than $2.4 million raised for the new Cancer Center, surpassing last year’s record and helping move life-changing care forward.

Yesterday, Basil Sherman II joined industry leaders at the Kansas City Business Journal's Where Construction Is Headed in Kansas City panel, presented by , to talk about what’s changing across our industry and what’s ahead.

For architects, anticipating those shifts isn’t just about keeping up. It’s about designing smarter, collaborating earlier, and helping our clients make informed decisions that hold up long after construction is complete.

On Friday, we joined The University of Kansas Health System, The University of Kansas Cancer Center, patients, researchers, physicians, donors, and project partners to celebrate the topping out of the new cancer center.

This project is bringing cancer care, research, and cellular therapy under one roof to move ideas from the lab to the patient faster and expand access to some of the most advanced cancer care in the region.

Our Equipment Planning team is proud to be part of the team helping shape a place where discoveries can become treatments, collaboration can happen more naturally, and people can get the care they need.

That’s the part of the work that matters most.

The Roy Blunt Health Science Innovation Center at Missouri Southern State University is officially open.

And while ribbon cuttings are always worth celebrating, what really gets us excited is what happens next.

Inside the new simulation hospital, future nurses, physicians, therapists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals will get to learn by doing—practicing real-world scenarios, working with real clinical equipment, and building confidence before they ever care for a real patient.

Because the future of healthcare begins with the people preparing to care for patients.

We're proud to have helped bring the simulation hospital and its equipment to life alongside Missouri Southern and an incredible project team. Even better, we get to see a space designed to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals become part of their journey.

Here's to the students who will learn here, the careers that will begin here, and the communities they'll go on to serve.
