September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, and the AEC industry has one of the highest su***de rates among professions. It’s a reality we can’t afford to overlook.

Throughout the month, Pulse Design Group, , , and are coming together to talk openly about su***de awareness and prevention in our industry.

We’ll explore the warning signs, the challenges that can keep people from asking for help, and the ways we can all do a better job of showing up for the people around us.

Because a stronger industry starts with making space for the conversations that matter.

On Friday, we joined The University of Kansas Health System, The University of Kansas Cancer Center, patients, researchers, physicians, donors, and project partners to celebrate the topping out of the new cancer center.

This project is bringing cancer care, research, and cellular therapy under one roof to move ideas from the lab to the patient faster and expand access to some of the most advanced cancer care in the region.

Our Equipment Planning team is proud to be part of the team helping shape a place where discoveries can become treatments, collaboration can happen more naturally, and people can get the care they need.

That’s the part of the work that matters most.

The Roy Blunt Health Science Innovation Center at Missouri Southern State University is officially open.

And while ribbon cuttings are always worth celebrating, what really gets us excited is what happens next.

Inside the new simulation hospital, future nurses, physicians, therapists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals will get to learn by doing—practicing real-world scenarios, working with real clinical equipment, and building confidence before they ever care for a real patient.

Because the future of healthcare begins with the people preparing to care for patients.

We're proud to have helped bring the simulation hospital and its equipment to life alongside Missouri Southern and an incredible project team. Even better, we get to see a space designed to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals become part of their journey.

Here's to the students who will learn here, the careers that will begin here, and the communities they'll go on to serve.
