A new program from Deafmetal is helping audiology clinics offer hearing aid accessories without the burden of upfront inventory, making it easier for providers to connect patients with solutions they want or need.

Why does this matter? When clinics have more accessible options, more people can explore tools that support comfort, confidence and everyday communication.

The program is designed to help audiologists offer hearing aid jewelry to patients without carrying inventory risk.

When hearing begins to decline, your brain steps in to fill the gaps by decoding sounds, guessing words, and working overtime just to follow a conversation. That constant effort can leave you feeling mentally drained, even if you don’t realize why. It can also impact your energy, mental health and cognitive state.

The good news is that we don’t have to wait until it becomes overwhelming. Simple steps, such as protecting your ears from loud noise, taking listening breaks, and getting regular hearing checks, can make a lasting difference.

This World Hearing Day, discover how hearing loss impacts not just your ears but also your brain and emotional well-being.

Sirens are incredibly important to keeping us safe in emergency situations, but they do not come without a risk to our ears. Coming in at 120 decibels, most traditional sirens are significantly louder than the threshold deemed safe for prolonged exposure.

Sirens reach particularly high intensities and experts warn that repeated exposure to such noise may cause cumulative damage to hearing even if it is not felt immediately.
