Today my heart is heavy.

Aldon and I shared a chapter of life together years ago. While we went our separate ways, we continued to check in with each other from time to time, and I was always grateful for those conversations.

He was an incredible man in many ways—talented, charismatic, intelligent, and capable of making a lasting impression on everyone he met. Like many of us, he also carried struggles that weren’t always visible to the world. He was imperfect, but he was human, and he mattered.

I’ll choose to remember the laughs, the conversations, the moments of kindness, and the man I knew behind the headlines.

My heart goes out to his family, friends, and everyone who loved him. Rest peacefully, Aldon. You will be remembered. 🖤
