Quick update for everyone!
Pam is doing great and continues to make improvements each day. The biggest change is that on Monday, November 3rd, she will be starting back to work! This road to recovery and going back to work has been a long time coming! Keep the prayers going!

Pam had a great doctors visit and test results. Counts are doing great and going in the right direction! Keep the prayers coming!!

Results are in!!!!
Pam is 100% in remission and has 100% of Chloe’s cells! Her counts are good and the blasts that were found are GOOD blasts! She will now be able to start slowly regaining her life. 😊
She is working towards returning to work and starting to enjoy more time with family and friends.
Without all of your prayers, love and support, this might not be possible. Thank you all so very much for standing by us through this journey. We’re overjoyed with the news!!!!
Best 25th wedding anniversary present we could ask for!

To say that I’m blessed is an understatement! Pam just celebrated her 1st year afte being diagnosed with Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia and our son Jacob Ventling celebrated his 13th year after being diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Count each day as a blessing! Let your loved ones know how much they’re loved and how much they mean to you!

Quick update:
We’re back at KU Cambridge Tower for a quick surgery. Pam has had a fungal infection in her sinuses that has been causing her headaches and just a constant feeling like crap for over a month. They’re going to “roto-rooter” out her sinuses in hopes that this clears up all of the issues. It should be an “in and out” procedure today and then hopefully send us home afterwards. Please keep her and the surgeons in your prayers. I will update afterwards.

Happy 1st (new cells) birthday to this young lady! Blessed to have our daughter as her cell donor! What a year it’s been of ups and downs on life’s roller coaster. Hard to fathom all the stuff she has endured this past year, yet still comes out smiling with this beautiful smile! Thank you to all friends and family for support, love & prayers through it all.

Quick update on Pam.
She's been dealing with daily headaches and sinus issues over the past few months with no improvements with the use of antibiotics. Saw a ENT specialist that did a culture a month ago to see what was going on. Results came back that she has a slow growing fungus that is causing her issues. After seeing an Infectious Disease Dr yesterday in KC, they recommended that she saw a ENT specialist/surgeon in KC today. Since the CT scan that was done, can't distinguish what is in her sinuses, they determined that she will require sinus surgery that has been scheduled for May 30th. Blood counts are all still looking good, so that is a positive.
On another note, she will have a bone marrow biopsy as well as other tests on her "birthday"(May 20th) to see how her progress is going.

Happy Valentine's Day!! Spending the afternoon doing treatment. Counts are continuing to improve and appetite and hair are both growing! ITS A GREAT DAY!!!
