Fight Flight or FREEZE

This is how we respond when faced with danger. It's a great protection mechanism woven into our very being, however when we stay in this heightened state of stress, overwhelm, worry or burnout for a prolonged period our nervous system enters the FREEZE state.

In this state we begin to feel immobilized, emotionally numb or disassociated. WE BECOME STUCK. Feeling tired and unfocused.

Touch however can begin to lower the stress hormone cortisol and help to regulate, calm and balance our nervous systems.

Even a moment of pause for a 10-15 minute massage can help restore clarity and feelings of anxiety giving us a more positive outlook.

Look at all of these women business owners rolling out their mats, pausing, breathing, stretching and connecting.

I am beyond honored to have gotten to be a part of this social.

I got to share a little more about Corporate Wellness KC and our passion to bring wellness into the workplace in a fun and relaxing way, by offering a yoga sesh, chair massage and a tea experience.

I absolutely love creating opportunities for wellness and connection. 🧘‍♀️💆‍♀️💝

On Monday we were a sponsor at and provided chair massage for the golfers at the event.

This is 's annual fundraiser and these ladies were a blast.
So greatful to have been a part of it.

We had the opportunity to treat our 79 year old client to her first massage at Greenwood Terrace Lenexa.

This was the text we received from her daughter and caretaker after we left.
