Today is Wednesday outreach and we have a special guest. Mayor Christal Watson wanted to join us to better understand the challenges and issues at hand.
She got to see the joy of telling someone they have a bed in rehab TODAY after being on the wait list and how the whole team comes together to make it happen and address barriers.

This right here… this is Kansas City.

A huge thank you to Antioch Church in Overland Park for donating 50 bags packed with personal care supplies. These weren’t just dropped off—the church’s women’s group purchased the items and put every bag together.

The bags were delivered to Station 15—home of our Community Paramedic program.

These bags will go directly to residents during her home visits and to members of our unhoused community who need it most.

No spotlight. No strings attached. Just people taking care of people.

That’s how we do it here.
