Nā Puʻuwai is helping spread the word about a scholarship opportunity for students interested in careers supporting kūpuna and healthy aging.

The Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society (HPGS) is offering scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing work related to aging and older adults.

🎓 Awards: Up to $3,000
🗓 Application Deadline: Tuesday, June 30, 2026

Eligibility requirements apply, including enrollment at eligible Hawaiʻi colleges/universities, a 3.0+ GPA, and at least two semesters remaining before graduation.

If you care for a loved one with dementia, this may be a valuable opportunity to learn practical strategies for daily care, communication, routines, and caregiver wellbeing.
