Tending to him, talking to him, and giving thanks for every road opened, every road closed, and even the ones I don’t understand yet. Working with Orisha has taught me that not every blessing looks the way we expect it to.

I’m just grateful for the guidance, the protection, and the ashé that continues to carry me.

I’m back! 🤍🇵🇷

Puerto Rico was everything I needed and more. Being able to spend time with family, reconnect, laugh, love, and just be present on the island was such an amazing experience.

There’s truly nothing like being home in Borikén. 🌴

I’m so grateful for every moment, every conversation, every hug, and every memory made. I’m happy to be back, but I already miss it more than I can say. Part of my heart is definitely still there. ❤️🇵🇷

Until next time, Puerto Rico… and trust me, it won’t be long. I already can’t wait to get back.

Since so many of you have been asking where I’ll be during my time away, I’ll be heading to Puerto Rico to spend time with family, do some community work, and advocate for our Puerto Rican people. 🇵🇷

My heart is full of gratitude. 🤍
Grateful for my spiritual family, for my Ilé, for my Iya, and for the elders who have poured their wisdom, love, guidance, and prayers into me along this journey. There is something so sacred about being surrounded by people who teach you, correct you, protect you, and genuinely want to see you grow.

I don't take any of it for granted. Every lesson, every prayer, every blessing, every hand that has helped guide me to where I am today.

A little update from La Brujita ❤️

Starting August 15th, I’ll be taking a pause from readings, limpias, spiritual baths, cleansings, and some of the spiritual work I normally offer while I take some time to focus on my own spiritual journey, become more rooted, grounded, and strengthened.

My goddaughter and mentee Norma will be taking the reins. She is an espiritista, an advanced medium, and someone I have complete confidence and trust in.

I will be away from August 17th through the 24th, but once I’m back, I’ll still be around Brujita’s, so you’ll definitely still see me at the shop. ❤️
The doors are open, the website is active, and our services will continue.

This is simply a pause for me, not a goodbye. A little time to pour back into myself while giving Norma the space to step forward. 🌿❤️

As soon as I heard the thunder and saw the rain coming down, I started collecting rainwater. 🌧️⚡️

There is something sacred about rainwater, especially water collected during a storm. Our ancestors understood the power of working with the elements and using what nature provided.

And there is something spiritual about the sound of rain itself. The soft pitter-patter against the windows, the steady rhythm as it falls, and then the deep sound of thunder rolling through the sky. It's almost musical. Nature has its own rhythm, its own way of making us stop, listen and just be still for a moment.

Rainwater has been used for generations for cleansing, renewal and spiritual work. I use it in spiritual baths, sprays, floor washes, altar work and whenever I feel called to bring cleansing energy into a space.

Storm water carries an energy all its own. Powerful, cleansing and alive.

For me, collecting it is another way of staying connected to the old ways and remembering that some of our most sacred medicine has always come directly from nature. 🌧️🤎

Can't make it in person? No worries! If you're not local, you'll be able to join us for the Meet & Greet via Zoom, so everyone has the opportunity to be part of this first gathering, no matter where you are.

I'm also excited to share that I reached out to Robyn, and she graciously agreed to join our book club for a Q&A via Zoom after we finish reading the book. What an incredible way to wrap up our very first read together!

Fig Harvest time loading.....

There is something deeply healing about walking into your own backyard and seeing life growing.

This morning I noticed my fig tree is full of tiny figs, and I couldn't stop smiling. They're still small, but come October, I'll be able to harvest fruit from a tree growing on the land that now holds my home.

That feels sacred.
Our ancestors knew the rhythm of the seasons. They planted, they waited, they trusted, and eventually they gathered. Somewhere along the way, many of us lost that connection. Owning this little piece of earth has given me the opportunity to find it again.

Every herb, every flower, every fruit that grows here reminds me that healing asks us to slow down. To tend. To trust. To understand that not everything is meant to bloom overnight.
This isn't just about figs.

It's about putting my hands in the soil, honoring the land that cares for me, and remembering that abundance is something we cultivate with patience, gratitude, and love.
My ancestors would understand why this makes me so emotional.
And I think they'd be proud. 🌿🍃🫶🏽
