💜🙌 A HUGE milestone worth celebrating at Keene Center! 🙌💜

We are incredibly proud to recognize Julie Buffum, Keene Center’s Activity Director, for earning her first Positive Approach to Care (PAC) pin! 🎉💎

Julie has been working on Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care (PAC) program since April, and this accomplishment represents months of dedication, practice, patience, and perseverance.

Each PAC pin requires three skills videos demonstrating specific techniques with a high level of accuracy. Each video must be approved before advancing to the next level. Julie continued practicing, learning, and refining her skills — and all that hard work has officially earned her first pin! 💜🙌

But Julie isn’t stopping here. This is just the beginning of a much bigger goal. She plans to continue through the PAC certification levels with the ultimate goal of becoming a Dementia Care Trainer, allowing her to bring what she learns back to the Keene Center team and help others feel more confident, comfortable, and capable when caring for people living with dementia.

We are so proud of Julie — not only for earning this pin, but for what it represents: growth, perseverance, continued learning, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of the residents we serve. 💜
