🌿 We've welcomed a lot of new customers recently, so we thought this would be a good time to explain how debit card transactions work at Chesterfield Cannabis Co.

Unlike most retail businesses, cannabis dispensaries operate under unique banking restrictions. Because of that, debit card purchases are processed through a Cashless ATM (CATM) system rather than a traditional card processor.

To help make things a little easier to understand, we've put together a quick step-by-step guide showing exactly what you'll see on the terminal during a debit card transaction.

Before you approve your transaction, the terminal will display:

💳 Your withdrawal amount

💵 The rounded withdrawal amount

💰 Any change you'll receive back from the rounded amount

📋 The processing fee

✅ The total amount that will be charged

The terminal will also let you know that your bank may charge an additional fee for ATM-style transactions, depending on your financial institution.
