Im dipping my toes back into work after maternity leave by teaching one of my favorites, infant massage!

This class is curated for parents, caretakers and birth workers to learn how to confidentially and comfortable massage infants in their care. This class will cover massage techniques to help you connect with your baby and listen to their body’s needs. Massage techniques cover common concerns such as tension release, digestive assistance and calming movements to help balance and relax.

Each class ticket includes two adults and an infant under 1 year of age (if you have multiples we welcome you as well, let us know at time of booking that you have twins, triplets, etc!)

I am incredibly excited that our summer class location host is the same place that I’ve been able to bring my babies into the world, ! I am blessed to be teaching in a location that is so near and dear to my heart!

🤍 Maternity Leave 🤍 Our second baby made her entrance into this world on 2/5! We are blessed with another healthy baby and are enjoying our time together as we transition to being a family of 4 (with 2 under 2!). There were so many answered prayers with this birth, one of which being that it was physically so much easier on my body than my first baby’s birth. I hope this means I will be able to see you all again sooner. While I am on maternity leave I highly recommend .massage and .hands.birth.wellness for your massage therapy needs.

Life update - What’s going on at Sacred Oasis Massage?!

Hey yall, long time no see 🤍 life has been beautifully busy and I want to give you all an update on what’s going on at Sacred Oasis Massage.

My maternity leave has been much longer than I ever thought it would be. I am beyond blessed that I’ve been able to spend much needed time at home with my little one and let my business pause so I can be fully present at home. Young Alexandria’s dream was always to be a homemaker and mother, and this season of my life has been busy, precious and fulfilling. I am living my dream! I never anticipated having a career that I love and was passionate about that I would want to balance with my dream of motherhood. I will be honest, I don’t know exactly what it looks like to balance SOM with motherhood, but I know I feel called to do both, and want to find a balance between the calling and passion I have for each.

I will be returning to working soon with openings for massages and classes. My availability will flex around our family schedule and lifestyle and may vary a little as we find what works best. I also am thrilled to be teaching infant massages classes in collaboration with for parents and caretakers to learn how to comfortable and confidently massage their little ones. Bodywork was integral to helping Olivia in the early months and I’m so glad for the knowledge base I had to be able to help her. I’m thrilled to share this knowledge with other parents so they can do the same.

For the moment I will only be accepting existing clients and those with gift cards for massage appointments. If you have a gift card and have not had an appointment with me yet please reach out so I can get you set up in the system properly!

I will post my massage availability to stories so keep an eye on those for openings.

2024 was an amazing year, it held so many new things for myself and my family. Some things went according to plan, or how I thought they would, and others didn’t. All in all everything happened as it should and I feel extremely blessed.

I am looking forward to seeing what 2025 has in store, we have 365 new opportunities in front of us. It’s a good year to have a good year, my friends! Happy new year!

🤍 new location 🤍 it’s been a busy week transitioning from the old studio to the new studio. Lots of emotions have flowed through me as I leave the place that my business began. Starting a business in a pandemic was h a r d yall! Locking the door for the last time was emotional, but in a different way than I expected. I am sad to see one door close that has held so may firsts for me, yet excited to open another door with my friend and see what we can accomplish together.

We are now located at : 891 Keller Parkway 🤍 Alejandra and I hope you love our new space as much as we do. The ambiance of calm, peace, and hope it holds it something we strive for and can’t wait to welcome you into.
