🚨 HORSES HIDE PAIN TOO 🚨

Your horse may be “acting off” long before obvious signs appear. As prey animals, horses instinctively hide discomfort to avoid looking weak. Small changes can be BIG warning signs. 🐴

⚠️ Signs to watch for:
• Pinning ears or tail swishing
• Sudden attitude changes
• Stiffness or reluctance to move
• Head tossing or resisting rides
• Changes in appetite or drinking
• Uneven gait or frequent stumbling
• Sensitivity when touched or saddled
• Laying down more than usual

Pain isn’t always dramatic — sometimes it looks like “bad behavior.” Early attention can make all the difference. ❤️

Check them right now…

Most animals hide pain incredibly well.

The signs are often subtle — but they matter.

Watch closely for:

⚠️ Limping
⚠️ Head bobbing
⚠️ Weight shifting
⚠️ Hesitation jumping
⚠️ Stiff turning
⚠️ Only turning one way
⚠️ Excessive licking
⚠️ Clinginess
⚠️ Irritability
⚠️ Anxiety
⚠️ Behavior that feels “off”

Sometimes pain doesn’t look dramatic…

Sometimes it looks like:
“slowing down”
“getting older”
or “just being lazy”

But your animal may be trying to tell you something.
