Hello my fellow yogis! I’ve been sitting with how and when to share this, and it feels like the right time.
Over the past several months, I’ve been navigating a breast cancer diagnosis and am currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy. If everything goes as planned my final treatment is scheduled for mid June. It’s been a challenging season to say the least, but also one that has reminded me how much my yoga community and the practice means to me.
Although I’m planning to spend my summer on the island, summer yoga may look a little different this year. The island remains a special place that brings me peace and comfort and will play an important part in my healing.
As much as I love to teach, I’m unsure what my energy will look like when it comes to holding classes. My hope is to offer some classes and sound bath meditation in some form….perhaps fewer, more gentle than in past summers. I’ll have a better sense of that as I get closer to the end of treatment.
Yoga has always been about meeting ourselves with acceptance of where we are, and this summer, that’s exactly what I’ll be doing.
You all mean so much to me! 🥰 Thank you for your support, your patience, and for being such an important part of my life.
Stay tuned…more to come! ❤️
