🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE & 5&10K RACE COURSE – KELLEYS ISLAND 🚧

The 43rd Annual 5 & 10K Run/Walk is happening on Sunday, May 31, 2026, and temporary road closures and detours will be in effect across Kelleys Island from 10:30 AM – 12:15 PM.

Please plan ahead if you’ll be traveling around the island during race hours to avoid confusion or delays. Access to the State Park and Ferry Dock will follow the marked detour route during the event.

🏃 5K & 10K courses will impact several main roads and downtown areas.
🗺️ Race course and detour routes are available on the map.
🚗 Allow extra travel time and follow posted detour signs.
📍 Downtown Kelleys Island and surrounding routes will experience intermittent closures.

A huge thank you to our amazing community for coming out and supporting our safety services today! Your support means so much to all of us, and we loved having the opportunity to connect with everyone.

Due to impending weather, we made the decision to end the event a little early for everyone’s safety. 🌧️⛈️

Come meet our local Fire, EMS, and Police, as well as explore our emergency vehicles and equipment.

Weather permitting, we’re also expecting a visit from the Coast Guard and a Metro LifeFlight flyover! 🚁⚓
