Movement is medicine—but only if you challenge the right things.

Parkinson’s disease often affects more than strength. It can reduce balance, trunk rotation, reaction time, coordination, and step length, making everyday activities like turning, walking, and preventing falls more difficult.

In this session we’re working on:
Exercise 1: Static balance with trunk rotation while reacting to visual cues to improve rotational mobility, balance, and reaction time.

Exercise 2: Resisted lateral stepping to challenge coordination, larger step length, and side-to-side stability—all essential for safer walking and daily mobility.

The goal isn’t just to exercise—it’s to improve the movements that matter most in everyday life.

If you or a loved one has Parkinson’s disease, physical therapy can help improve mobility, confidence, and quality of life.

Your knee isn’t weak... your tendon just isn’t ready for what you’re asking it to do. 👇

If you have pain in the front of your knee, it may be patellar tendinopathy (often called “jumper’s knee”).

The biggest mistake I see isn’t the exercise—it’s increasing activity faster than your tendon can adapt.

Whether it’s:
🏃 Running more miles
🏋️ Jumping back into the gym
🥎 Starting a new sport
📈 Increasing training intensity
..your tendon needs time and progressive loading to build capacity.

Here are 4 exercises I use to help build that capacity:

1️⃣ Split Squat with Tempo– Helps reduce pain while introducing load to the tendon.
2️⃣ Captain Morgan– Strengthens the glute medius to improve hip stability and dynamic knee control.
3️⃣ Leg Extension (2 Up, 1 Down)– Eccentric loading places an appropriate challenge on the patellar tendon to stimulate adaptation.
4️⃣ Single-Leg Reaches– Builds balance, coordination, and dynamic control so your knee can tolerate movement more efficiently.

Remember: Pain isn’t always the enemy—but repeatedly exceeding your tissue’s capacity is.

If you’ve had pain at the front of your knee for weeks or months, don’t just rest it. Build its capacity.

🥊 Want a harder, more explosive punch? Start by building the foundation.

These 3 exercises help improve force production, force transfer, and shoulder durability for boxing and Muay Thai athletes:

1️⃣ **Explosive Pallof Press**
Builds rotational core stability so you can generate and transfer power more efficiently through your punches.

2️⃣ **Plyometric Push-Up**
Trains the muscles of the shoulder and shoulder blade to produce force explosively while also improving their ability to absorb impact.

3️⃣ **Serratus Punch**
Targets the serratus anterior—one of the most important muscles for shoulder blade protraction during the punching motion. Strong serratus = better mechanics and improved force transfer.

Remember: Punching power isn’t just about your arms. It’s about how well your entire kinetic chain works together.

Waking up dizzy every time you roll over in bed? That’s not random— it’s most likely BPPV, tiny calcium crystals in your inner ear that end up somewhere they shouldn’t be.
The fix isn’t medication— it’s a specific repositioning maneuver (this one’s called the Epley), and for most people, it works in one visit.

If you’ve been told “it’s just vertigo” and sent home with no real answers, comment DIZZY and I’ll walk you through what’s actually going on.

ACL rehab isn’t just about getting stronger—it’s about rebuilding trust in your knee. Force plates help us identify weight-shifting patterns, while targeted isometrics wake up the quad without overloading the joint. One step at a time, we’re with you every step of the way.
