Your appointment shouldn’t be the day before your holiday plans.

With Halloween 3 weeks away and Thanksgiving 7 weeks away, now’s a good time to plan around those parties, family photos, and get-togethers.

Here’s what to keep in mind:

• Tox: Results usually start showing within 3–7 days. Plan at least 2 weeks ahead so there’s time for the treatment to take effect.
• Filler: You may see a difference right away, but swelling and bruising can take 1–2 weeks to settle. Give yourself extra time before a big event.
• Chemical peels: Healing depends on the peel. Light peels can take 1–7 days, while medium peels can take 7–14 days.
• Laser: Timing depends on the treatment and your goals. Some concerns need a series of appointments, so it’s worth starting the conversation early.
