On May 16, something truly special happened at the HAPO Center in Pasco.

TCO's own April Walkley, RN, volunteered alongside the Nick of Time Foundation as they trained local volunteers and provided lifesaving heart screenings for young people in our community.

During the event, 324 young hearts were screened, with 4 dangerous heart rhythm conditions identified and 14 students referred for cardiac follow-up. These are young people who now have an opportunity to get answers and potentially lifesaving care.

Thanks to an incredible partnership with Stryker, the event also went beyond heart screenings. Students—and even some parents—learned hands-only CPR and how to use an AED, giving them skills that could one day help save a life.

We're proud of April for volunteering her time and expertise to support such an impactful event and grateful to organizations like Nick of Time Foundation for bringing these important screenings and educational opportunities to our community. 💙
