the artist known as “Badder” Israel, graduated from Puebla’s University of Urban Design. To say that graffiti pumps through his veins is an understatement! Badd
er was born into the urban art scene and inspired to create by his father, the legendary old-school artist and coordinator of Mexico’s Elite Art Graffiti Expo, Mosh. At 15 Badder began creating professional works that fused elements of classic and urban artistic styles while specializing in murals and graffiti laced productions. Upon moving to the artistically inspiring locale of Brooklyn, New York, Badder’s vision was forever changed. He immediately immersed himself into Brooklyn’s diverse cultural offerings and what emerged was awe inspiring classically spray painted graffiti pieces depicting the struggles and successes faced by many who are affected by the life in the “big city”. Badder’s new socio-cultural edge is evident, eye catching and alive. As a visionary, Badder has transformed his childhood dream into a tangible reality as his creative style serves to marry fine art to graffiti art resulting in one of kind works that evidence his past educational influences of science, cultural tribes, universal cosmology and social injustice. Badder, the visionary, the artist is driven by art and its ability to shape, change and chronicle political and social fare of the day. Striving to elevate his artistic style to cosmopolitan Badder levels is dedicated to promoting the universality of art beginning with NYC and eventually abroad.

Established in December 2012, “The Art Kartel” was created as a necessity by its founder Badder Israel, to provide an outlet, but not just any outlet, this unique outlet would be established from just a dream to a psychical being, Creating artistic atmospheric harmony for himself, but more importantly other brilliant artist alike. Israel searched hoping to find the best of the best, to help formulate his ideal & vision. Essentially this “ideal” would be based in five essential elements carving life and expression of human sense. Its looking forward, creating that pure artistic atmosphere, where one can explore new and innovative ways of creating & expressing art, presenting all outcomes to the public and their peers. All backed by its resident and celebrity guest DJ’s bridging all cultural, traditional & Non-traditional musical gaps. Supplying our clientele with no concept of space nor time. Basically in a nutshell, “The Art Kartel” has become an escape for artist, art fans & party goers from the hustle and bustle of boxed in city life & the working man(s)/woman(s) regular 9-5 work sched, and if that wasn’t enough, Its all topped off with the most delicious & tasty BBQ delectable’s catered by our partner & celebrity chef “Hood Chef” along with his company & team “4 fun.”

We have also partnered up with The Harlem Art Fund, NYRP, & Ms. Bette Middler, Community 54, Hip-Hop USA and our regular party host, artist-on-the-rise Hood Chef. These events done strategically have brought us Brand awareness via. word of mouth and has given our Brand “The Art Kartel” legs of its own, enabling us to have the “It Factor” & be talked about from NYC to overseas generating a fan base on its own.
