We are thrilled to announce a new recognition program that will honor and celebrate our CNAs and Non-clinical staff. Nominations for the BEE (Being Exceptional Everyday) Award, can be submitted by patients, their families, and colleagues. The BEE Award honors staff members who exhibit exceptional teamwork, effective communication skills, compassion, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service, and a strong commitment to excellence. Each BEE Award Honoree will be recognized twice a year. Honorees will receive public recognition on social media, a certificate, a pin, and a $100 gift card.

August is MedicAlert Awareness Month ❤️⛑️

A medical ID can speak for you when you can’t speak for yourself. Whether it’s allergies, diabetes, epilepsy, heart conditions, or other medical needs, wearing a medical alert bracelet or necklace can help first responders provide faster, safer care in an emergency.

This month, take a moment to:
❤️ Review your emergency medical information.
⛑️ Make sure your medical ID is up to date.
👨‍👩‍👧 Encourage loved ones with medical conditions to wear a medical ID.

A small bracelet can make a life-saving difference.

🐾 Guess the animal! 🐾
Our residents at Avina of Kenosha had fun putting their guessing skills to the test! Each person wore a hat with an animal name on it, and others had to ask questions and guess the animal they were wearing.
It was a fun way to encourage conversation, laughter, and connection with friends!
