Brains on Tap Brains on Tap: Eat, Drink, and Learn Something New! A lively, informal discussion of science in an inviting atmosphere with food and drink.

Eat, drink and learn something new! "Brains on Tap" hosts TED-style talks from scientists around Northeast Ohio. "Brains on Tap" was brought to Kent in 2012 by the local Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Society of Neuroscience. Brain Health Research Institute relaunched the program during Brain Awareness Week - March 13-19, 2023. Events are held at different locations in downtown Kent. Discussion beg

The "Brains on Tap" event has been rescheduled for July 30, 2025, at 6:00 pm. The event will be held at the Bell Tower Brewing Company in Kent, Ohio.
Drs. Kathleen Casto, Assistant Professor in Psychological Sciences at Kent State University, and Aleisha Moore, Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences at Kent State University, will be presenting: “Hormone-Brain Connections for Women's Health.” Ideastream and WKSU will be recording the event for later airing, and Taylor Wizner, WKSU health reporter, will be emceeing the event.
